Off-site meeting in Bishkek of the ALLVET project team (Narxoz and Narxoz Economic College) to expand the project partnership with TSI AUCA and AUCA

At the initiative of the rector of Narxoz University, Mr. Andrew Wachtel and with the support of the management of the economic college at Narxoz University, represented by the director of the college - Satayev Sanat Akylzhanovich October 16, 2019 coordinator of the ALLVET project 609952-EPP-1-2019-1-RS-EPPKA2-CBHE -JP “Creation of an alliance of HE and VET in accordance with the implementation of the principles of the Bologna process through increasing the potential of VET teachers” of the Erasmus + Mukhanova Gaini program organized a visiting meeting with the leadership of AUCA and the AUCA Innovation College in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan).

The purpose of the meeting was to involve the AUCA Innovation College in the dissemination of the results of the ALLVET project, since both colleges (at Narxoz and at AUCA) are very dynamically developing and respond quickly to innovations in the field of education, work tirelessly to improve the qualifications of teachers and college staff, strive to improve teaching methodology and adapt the best American and European experience in their activities.

The composition of the delegation from Kazakhstan:

- Mukhanova Gaini - coordinator of the ALLVET project

- Satayev Sanat - college director

- Zharasbayeva Aigerim - college specialist in practice

- Zeydalieva Zhanna - Deputy for Academic Affairs of the College

- Ospankulov Yernur - deputy for educational work of the college

In Bishkek, the Kazakh delegation was met by the Vice-President of AUCA, President of the AUCA Innovation College, Mr. Chyngyz Shamshiev, Director of College Development - Elena Li-Baranovskaya, Deputy Director of the College for Academic Affairs Zhyldyz Nisharapova and the entire staff of the college at AUCA. A separate item on the agenda was the discussion of possible cooperation between @Technical School of innovation AUCA and Narxoz University within the ALLVET project under the Erasmus + #erasmusplus program.

This project is aimed at creating a system of interaction between universities and colleges to improve the knowledge and competencies of teachers in accordance with the principles of the Bologna process. Gaini Mukhanova presented the ALLVET project and informed about the possible expansion of the project's results not only in the TVE system of Kazakhstan, but throughout Central Asia. AUCA Innovation College was the first college in Central Asia to receive a presentation of the project and an invitation to be involved in the project as a platform for implementation.

After discussing all these issues, the delegation from Kazakhstan visited the American University of Central Asia @myauca, where they met with AUCA Vice-President Chyngyz Shamshiev.

The meeting was very productive, the parties agreed that this project is very interesting to the AUCA Innovation College, the official position of the management of the two colleges on cooperation both within the framework of the project and in new areas of activity, exchange of experience and comprehensive development of joint project activities was announced.
