Presentation of the ALLVET project at GLOBAL HOUR # 3

Traditionally, in October of each year, the whole world celebrates “ErasmusDays”. The University of Narxoz did not stand aside. In Kazakhstan, in October 2019, “ErasmusMonth” was held, within the framework of which events of various formats were organized at Narxoz. Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor, Head of the Career Center and Director of the ESF Corporate Fund - Mukhanova Gaini Kazibaevna was invited as a speaker to GLOBAL HOUR # 3. She is the coordinator of the ALLVET project 609952-EPP-1-2019-1-RS-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP “Creating an alliance of HE and TVET in accordance with the implementation of the principles of the Bologna process through increasing the capacity of teachers of TVET”. At the meeting, she made a presentation on the ALLVET project.
Mukhanova Gaini shared her own experience of collaboration with foreign scientists, the exchange of ideas, the consolidation of project ideas and the formation of effective consortia. She spoke in detail about the goals, objectives of the project, the composition of the consortium. She also talked about what research and design groundwork, practical experience is available at Narxoz for the successful implementation of the ALLVET project. Since the ALLVET project is based on the results of the TuCAHEA project of the TEMPUS program, which was implemented at Narxoz during the period 2012-2015.
Recall that projects in the field of capacity development are projects of inter-institutional cooperation between universities of the program countries and partner countries. They are aimed at modernizing, expanding accessibility and developing the internationalization of higher education in partner countries. They are also aimed at creating a platform for the development and strengthening of cooperation between EU countries and partner countries, promoting intercultural and interpersonal exchange. These projects are based on multilateral partnership between universities of program countries and universities of partner countries. The projects are aimed at developing and modernizing curricula and programs, joint teaching methods, improving the management and leadership of universities, and strengthening the link between universities and industry.
The meeting was attended by many new employees and teachers of Narxoz University, who showed great interest both in the project and in the competition of projects under the Erasmus + program in 2020. Many questions were asked, and ideas for new projects arose on the spot.
