University of Georgia was founded in 2004 under the name of "Georgian University of social Sciences". The founders of the University are doctor of historical Sciences, Professor-Giuli Alasania, doctor of historical Sciences, Professor-Manana Sanadze, who made a welcoming speech to the participants of the conference. Manana Sanadze moderated the conference and panel sessions.
It should be noted that during the period from the moment of its Foundation to the present day, the University of Georgia has been developing very dynamically. In 2010, for the first time in the post-Soviet space, the US Agency OPIC (Overseas Private Investment Corporation) invested in the multi-million dollar infrastructure development of the Georgian University.
The Career Center team made a presentation on the possibilities of digitalizing interaction with employers, other external stakeholders, the labor market, helping students find employment and maintaining effective communication with graduates. The invitation to participate in the International conference was based on a study conducted by the University of Georgia in a cross-section of Central Asian universities and the search for best practices in the field of career guidance, the work of career centers and the emphasis in the formation of educational programs on the development of professional and personal competencies of graduates. This research led to the establishment of communications and the development of a partnership between the University of Georgia and Narxoz University and, first of all, with the Career Center of Narxoz University.
The team of Career Center of Narxoz University willingly shared their own experience in organizing the work of the Career Center, which was strengthened in the framework of participation in projects: UNIWORK under the TEMPUS program, COMPLETE under the ERASMUS+ program, and also told about the new ALLVET project of the ERASMUS+ program, which will start soon.
From Narxoz University in the conference participated: Gaini Mukhanova, Assem Kaziyeva, Daliya Tulebayeva, Nurken Zhangabay and Manshuk Ordakhanova. The second day of the conference was held in an informal atmosphere. An excursion to Mtskheta, a tour of the city and the main attractions was organized, and the conference ended with a festive dinner at the restaurant "Alexandria", which belongs to the University of Georgia, where students of the specialties "Restaurant business" of this University practice. Also, the University of Georgia has its own kindergarten, school, College, restaurant, clinic, where medical students receive practical knowledge, practice and under the guidance of the teaching staff, as part of the University's social responsibility, simultaneously accept the population on a free basis.
